City set to celebrate Men’s Day 2019 Lets Go!
The city has already prepared a number of activities for the forthcoming celebration of Men’s Day 2019.
According to Benjie Noel Senas, Population Program Officer III of the City Population Management Office (CPMO), there will be two schedules for the celebration.
The City Population Management Office headed by Dr. Washington Loreno, CGDH II, is the lead agency in the yearly celebration of Men’s Day in the city.
Senas disclosed that the first schedule is on June 4, 2019 which will be participated by male officials and employees from the different barangays of the city. The venue of this activity is Robinson’s Place, he added.
In a communication sent by Alvin Catolico, PPO I, the guest speaker for the first schedule is Dr. Ryan Aplicador while a message will be delivered by newly elected Vice Mayor Atty. Loreto B. Acharon.
The second is set on June 8, 2019 which will be participated by LGU male employees and will be held at Robinson’s Place also. For the second activity a message will also be delivered by newly elected Vice Mayor Atty. Loreto B. Acharon while the committee is still determining the guest speaker.
The whole month of June is actually declared Men’s Month by virtue of City Ordinance No. 12, series of 2010.
Organizers of the 2019 Men’s Day celebration said the activities include the giving of free health and wellness services to those who will participate during program.
